This publication not only serves to document the exhibition `PEDESTRIAN`, but also to expand on the plight of pedestrianism in its varying forms. Through the contributions of three seperate authors, the double entendre of the term itself traverses an array of different directions, like the intersecting trajectories that we, ourselves, map through the city each day. The ethics of circulation, embodied at the gallery location at Kottbusser Tor, Berlin, are brought to light over the following pages, while the noisy hullabaloo of the circling cars, trains, merchants and passersby permeates on the margins.
