The book documents a project by Michael Blum that took place in the columns of a regional daily newspaper in France for one month without being announced as so. Discretely inserting some brief news taken from all over the world into the newspaper, Blum questions the place of the local, the notion of proximity and the expectations of the journalists as well as of the readers.
