21er Haus--Back to the Future

The pathbreaking Museum of Modern Art 20er Haus was the first center of contemporary art in Vienna, and one of the first of its kind in Europe. The publication 21-er Haus ? Back to the future ? a retroperspective look at a museum is the first profound documentation of the unique history of the house: interviews, numerous photographs and the first complete chronology illustrate the history of the house and discuss museum conceptions of the 20th century and future concepts for the house in the 21st century.
